Should we get a pest & building inspection?

The short anser is yes.  It is recommended that pest and building inspections be carried out on all properties being purchased, even new homes.  As homes get older they often have small or substantial issues that may require rectification work, A pest and buidling inspection will often reveal what work needs to be carried out which may be a bargaining chip with the vendor.

New buildings can also have faults due to porr workmanship of other factors.
